Company Information A.E.Miller Manufacturing Company was started in Denver, CO in 1970 when Arlyn Miller made the first set of Fender Extenders for his Jeep® from fiberglass. The Extenders were then sold to Jeep® dealers in the Denver area. The company moved to Boise City, OK in 1971. The Fender Extenders were then produced for thermoformed plastic. Soon after, the products were marketed nationally. Throughout the years, many new products have been added to the product line. Late in the summer of 1998, Quality Craft Corp purchased the A.E. Miller Mfg. Co. after-market Jeep® accessory line. Arlyn Miller will continue to offer his assistance to Quality Craft Corp in the area of new product development. Quality Craft Corp was founded by two brothers, Arnold and Lawrence Johnson, in January of 1972. The business started in Arnold's garage, but soon moved to Highway 150 south in Independence, IA. In 1979, Quality Craft again expanded its facilities to meet the needs of the growing business. In 1995, the process of computerization started. A new five-axis CNC router was installed in 1996. Following two floods in the spring of 1999, Quality Craft again moved to a new facility in the industrial park on the south side of Independence. This also afforded us an ideal opportunity to increase out production area, giving us room to add another CNC router, as well as other manufacturing equipment. Today, Arnold still oversees the daily operation of the business. Because of his firm belief in the Lord he is committed to implementing Biblical principles in all dealings with customers, suppliers, and employees.
